Longtail Aviation was founded in 2003 as an aircraft management company and charter operator. Longtail conducts Commercial Air Transport operations under Part 121 of the Overseas Territories Aviation Requirements.
The Bermuda register and the Longtail AOC is rather unique: An aircraft which is being registered in Bermuda and added to its only AOC does not need to come to Bermuda for its airworthiness inspection. The process in Bermuda is businesslike, predictable and reasonable. There is no better place than Bermuda to register an aircraft and operate it commercially.
Based at Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport, Longtail Aviation’s “state of the art” hangar facilities provide the perfect base of operations, permitting our ground and flight crews to operate our aircraft with the maximum safety and reliability. Our Bermuda registered aircraft operate under Bermuda Department of Civil Aviation verification.
Bermuda Hangar Services
Longtail Aviation’s 70,000 sq. ft., hangar facility is located on the L. F. Wade International Airport (TXKF/BDA) in Bermuda. The former NATO facility, built in the 1990s, is a world class facility that can accommodate up to three Gulfstream V’s.
Our highly trained, courteous, and experienced ground personnel are highly skilled and trained in marshalling and towing aircraft. We are available to support your aircraft at a moment’s notice. Although our normal hours of operation are between 7am – 6pm, 365 days a year, our after hours service can be accessed by calling +1-441-293-5971.
